A little bit about the Master Gelatier…
Owner and master gelatier Niccolo Lekai has been obsessed with fine gelato since he was a toddler visiting his grandparents (Nonno and Nonna), Aunt (Zia), and Uncle (Zio) in Italy who would entice him with different flavors of the best gelato and sorbetto Florence (Firenze) had to offer. It was something he looked forward to year after year.

A graduate of University of San Diego in marketing and business administration, Niccolo’s love for gelato drove him to learn all aspects of the business, from production to retail sales, catering, and wholesale distribution. With business acumen and artisan-ship, he and his Italian father, Andrea, created Leo Leo Gelato, a company committed to continuing the 500-year-old Italian tradition of handcrafting fine gelato.
