A shout out to Jennie Sturgeon at Trumpet Vine catering in Paso Robles (an incredible chef)…we just noticed wedding pictures of your catering masterpieces, new cart and Leo Leo Gelato on your blog. As the blog said, “Locally produced, Leo Leo Gelato, was the perfect treat to top off their oh so romantic day.” Beautiful. Thank you!

Powell’s Sweet Shoppe

We just noticed that Powell’s Sweet Shoppe in Paso Robles and Powell’s Sweet Shoppe in San Luis Obispo, California no longer appear on Google Maps as gelato stores when searching “gelato Paso Robles” or “gelato San Luis Obispo”. Hmmm…what has gone wrong in cyberspace? Powell’s Sweet Shoppe has a fantastic selection of gelato and sorbetto from artisan gelato maker, Leo Leo Gelato, in their gelato case. They sell it by the scoop or in our pint containers.

Firestone Beer Gelato

Master gelatier, Niccolo, and Ray, his wingman, crafted amazing flavors for the Firestone Beer Festival held last Saturday at the California Mid State fair. Some were a one time offering as Niccolo was so generously provided the craft beers from nano (smaller than micro) breweries that do not sell these gems. Our thanks to the many hundreds of people who were patient enough to stand in long lines and the heat (104 degrees!) to sample Leo Leo gelato and sorbetto. It was an unforgettable day.

Butterfinger Gelato Flavor

Master Gelatier Niccolo nailed a new Butterfinger flavor. Takes us back to our childhood memories of lazy summer afternoons sitting in the sun with melted chocolate on our chins and a big smile on our faces.
